Today we are all sad.
Tessa(us) said farewell to her freind, Dorthe, that was an exchange student from Germany.
Her very bright and courageous freind.
We had to stop by for one last bye and hug.
She is such a sweetheart. As beautiful inside as she is on the outside.
Seth was convinced as she is so pretty that she was really a princess in Germany.
We secretly still believe it even tho she denies it!!
Her accent is so sweet and she denies she has one of those too!!
We enjoyed sharing pieces of our ordinay life that were "firsts" for her. Its so neat to see things thru her eyes and it was especially fun to share them with her.
Some firsts we shared with her-
- riding in a suburban
- visiting a corn maze
- roasted marshmallows
- homemade pizza
- a big wacky family that slowly learned how to play Mau Mau
- riding in the semi truck
- driving a race car
- tenting out
Actually the battery died so she only had a short drive but she got a feel for it.
She promised to set up a blog of her family. I am so anxious to visit it every day but I will be patient because she has 10 months of being away from her family to make up for!!
She will be greatly missed by Tessa.
All of us!!
We love ya, girl!
Take care always.
God bless you.
Til we meet again someday.
Like when she comes back for prom next year or we meander across the big one.
Til then.......farewell.
