Blogging Delays......

This week was another busy one. I dont like these super busy weeks when I am attached to the computer for hours on end. Yet dont have any spare moments to fit in some bloggy time. So I havent dropped out of the bloggy world........just been busy.
While I was booking the trucks loads for this week and next week others were busy too.
Seth got a good report from the doctor. He can return to normal activity. Whew. (His mama says we will hold off a wee bit on that yet.)
Clark's hand seems to be healed. The pain is gone :) :) :)
Tessa has been working at the daycare every chance she can get. When a gal goes on maternity leave -probably when we are on vacation-she will get full time hours. So I have been enjoying her assistance with having her run the errands I havent had time for. The house is clean too.
Daryl handed the reins of his truck over to his cousin for the summer while he plays "farmer". Then he and Clark took off for WY to plant all that alfalfa seed that did arrive safe and dry! (Tho Dirk had some rough weather getting it to WY!!) We had one of our irrigated circles have frost kill and needed to be replanted. :( Was a rough cold spring. Hopefully its sunshine and some rain for the rest of the summer.

Even tho they were only going to be in WY for a few days Clark was determined to take along Tubster, the dog. He just had to have his doggy with him. Well when they arrived to our local town in WY Tubs started yelping even tho the entire 12 hours he was silent along the way. At the turn off on the gravel road to our property he started barking nonstop and running back and forth in the back of the pickup. He knew "home on the range" was nearby. Story goes he barked and barked the entire 5 miles til they pulled up to the cabin.

Tubster went right to work on evicting the free loaders on his property upon arrival. Daryl has been telling us about a family of deer that took residence under the hay trailer. They are now in a neighboring hay field. Wonder if Tubby chased them off for good or will they return now that the big black barking ball of fur is back at home in SD??

The story continues...when the guys and the dog returned home today he was silent and content til they arrived in our small SD town!! Guess he likes it here too!! :)

Dirk has been busy trucking and when he gets through WY gets in a little "farming" too.

Zach has a car tore apart in the shop that he is working on painting along with his construction job.

And Maria....her baby bump is getting bigger every time we see her! The ultrasound pictures of the baby are really cute. Exciting.

OH......blogging pays. Literally. Our truck had "issues" this week so it was put in the shop for repairs. Well when Pete arrived to pick it up they told him it needed a new starter. Well being I had blogged about Daryl's frustration when that starter had been replaced last fall it was worldwide news.

Most of you dont remember this but Pete did!! And thats all that matters. So because of me blabbing about something so minuet to the bloggy world, Pete reading and remembering it...HOPEFULLY we will get reimbursed through warranty for it.

Well the blogging delay may continue as we are leaving on vacation. We have finally decided that we are going to go to Minneapolis, Wisconsin Dells, see friends in WI, and try to catch some sites along the way.

I am going to try to post daily while on vacation via the BlackBerry.

Have a great weekend and week!!

busy, busy, busy!!

Where do you get the energy?

Good news about the boys' injuries being healed, and Maria's pregnancy progressing smoothly.

Hope you have a great holiday!
