Kickin In Summer.......

After the guys had a week of working in WY they rushed home so we could take a short trip to Wisconsin.
Where we met up with Augie&Darla, our besties from eastern Iowa, in Wisconsin Dells.
Seth, Daryl, me, Brooke, Clark, Tarin
Coming home from WY Clark decided he was going to buy Hawaiian shirts for everyone to wear. Of course, his girlfriend is a teen yet too so she joined in on the fun!
You could pick us out of a crowd!!
Much fun was had for the short time we were at Wisconsin Dells.
Actually too much fun was had at the go-karts.
Can you imagine that?? Two overgrown forty something truckers showing off to the three teen boys and girl.
Showing off so much that one of the overgrown forty something truckers was asked not to come back that day. And it wasn't Augie!!!!

The jet boat ride was a big hit. As in hit many times in the face with dirty river water!!
Tho the drenched river water hair was a mess the ride was alot of fun!
After a day of fun with Augie&Darla we continued on our way to see more friends.
Donnie & Inez were wonderful to see once again. Their son, Mark, too.
We rudely dropped by Mark & Lana at the early hour of 8am for a short visit. Just as they finished up milking their cows for the morning. At breakfast time.
Even tho we were extremely rude to visit so early it was wonderful to see them too!
Then we were off to spend a couple more hours with Donnie & Inez.
Visit the Rippin Good Cookie Outlet Store.
Amish grocery store and bakery.
Then we were headed west to home.
As we neared Brooke's town I would call out how many miles left ever so often.
She would call back to slow down!
The teens were not ready for the fast-paced, sleep deprived trip to end.
Daryl was tho. He had a much needed root canal the next morning.

Now we are taking our sleep deprived bodies farther west to WY to get to work. After running lots of errands, finding Clark an apartment up at school for the fall, and getting together all we need out west.

Its that time.
Summertime.

Have a great summer you all!!

I really like your grainy styled photographs. I sense you have really captured 'the moment'; especially in the fifth image down.

The pictures are cellphone pics. I decided not to take my camera along on the fast paced trip.
Figured there were 6 phones along that someone would capture the trip!

What fun times you have with your family and friends - always on the go. Does going to Wyoming mean you'll be blog-free for the summer? I hope not.
