Stressing Out.......

First of all.
Happy Fathers Day!
To my hubby.
And the rest of you daddys out there!!
We have all been stressing out around here lately.
Trying to get ready to leave for Wyoming to do first cutting of alfalfa and the such.
Of course we are all wondering how this is all going to work out.
Learning how to run machines some of us have never run before.
Putting up hay in a timely manner.
Getting the baler set right and to work properly.
The costs of everything.
Just all the farming stuff.
Then living out of a motel.
Dispatching the truck away from the office.
Missing out on life at home.
Baseball when your team is undefeated so far.
The thriving garden.
The strawberry harvest that we will miss out on half of.
Dirk and his "bachelor days" while we are gone.
Will he have the time and energy to water the flowers/garden.
Keep up with the lawn.
Help along any stray pole beans that want to vine anywhere but the poles.
Walk thru the garden to pull out any and ALL stray morning glories that will choke out the entire garden if given a chance.
Take care of the pets.
Along with his everyday life.
Time will tell.
------------
I will share one of many examples of how some of us are stressing this week.
In our little town we no longer have a grocery store. So our one and only gas station carries food stuffs. I very seldom use this service as I try to keep stocked up to avoid high prices and running 12 miles to the closest grocery store for a missed item in the middle of cooking/baking. But when we do have to grab something there you must always check the dates cuz you never know how long its been there. All the kids know that!
Me: We are out of cheddar cheese. Can you run to the station quick? Check the dates.
Clark: Sure! Whats the date?
Me: June 13. So 6-13.
So he returns.....
Me: Did they have any cheese?
Clark: Yep.
Me: What was the date on it?
Clark: 3 to 5 days after opening!
Me: No. Whats the date on the package?
Clark:Yeah! It says 3 to 5 days after opening!!
Oh dear!!
Thankfully the cheese was not out dated.
Yeah we have all been stressing!!
Clark has especially as he had drivers ed the past two weeks. More stress for him this week as this is the week of driving. His friend, one of the kids in his driving group, had only sat behind a steering wheel twice before driving the Ed car. I think Clark was rather nerved up as the first day they hit the grass with this kid driving. Clark passed the course so he will be able to drive by himself in July. Which means I have an eager driver to run errands for me but more stress for me when he is driving!

Wow you are busy. I do hope that you have a wonderful time learning and that everything at home will go smoothly.

I'd like to go with you. :D

Driver's ed is a fun class -- I can think of an entire region of drivers that would benefit from retaking (or taking it at all) that class!

Blessings!
