Tubster did not understand whatever is wrong with his beloved pickup being filled with snow.
Yesterday I had a very busy, long, and somewhat productive day in the office.
Mid-morning I had to run out to our suburban and get my "trucking bag" that I take with me when I work out of the office. Being I was out of the office on Tuesday it went with me and I forgot it out there.
I was in the midst of calls, faxes and realized I needed a file out of the trucking bag promptly.
I jump into Clark's size 13 shoes and run out the door.
Tubster the dog seen this blur run by him and got all excited. Lady running? Play time!!
I am crawling into the backseat of the sub getting the much needed bag when Tubs is right behind me crowding me in.
Still in a hurry I jump out of sub while pushing Tubs away telling him I am not out there to play. He doesnt understand why running lady isnt playing with him so he keeps trying to crowd me playfully all excited.
I try to step around him and thats when the not so fun moment happens. I somehow managed to get entangled with him. His leash is wrapped around my leg and he is pulling me to the front of the sub to play. Once we are in front of the suburban away from the snow bank he attempts to take off on a run while I am still tied up with him.
I let out a screech. Almost fell face first on the deck.
Thankfully my screech stops Tubby in his tracks.
Also that is the moment the guy that had me on hold decides to come back on the phone!!!
So I ended up not booking the load with that guy that thinks I'm nutty.
My leg had skin ripped off and it hurt for hours.
This morning its sore, swollen, and bruised.
I may have to wear Clark's size 13 shoes again as I dont think I will be able to get my shoes on!!!
Lesson RE-learned- do not run when in Tubby's presence unless you are going to play.
That wont be an issue for me today as I will be hobbling!
Hopefully the kid I was on the phone with learned a lesson too. I hope he learned to not put all his callers on hold for 2 minutes everytime a question was asked about the load.

My sons dogs (both big) use to live here

they decides to do a dog frolic in front of me
I fell and they said " Look the Grammy is on the ground. Lets kiss her"
I had to yell for help to get up.
I knew I twisted my knee...but in the morning I could not even get out of bed. I was laid up for a good two weeks (o:

This is what I do all the time. Hope you are feeling better.
OMGOSH! That is a heck of a lot of snow! YIKES!
Hope your foot heals quickly. OUCHIE!
Fun times for you! We have a big St. Bernard here who wouldn't run to save his life. We call him the guard dog but he's actually the welcoming committee - he raises his head off of the floor, smiles at the intruder, wags his tail and goes back to sleep.
Ouch!
I hope you recover quickly - not fun.
You sure have had some snow - that picture is amazing!
