Her Smile Is Back....

After two plus weeks of pain Tessa has her smile back!!! Her pain has subsided even without antibiotics. So we are becoming more confident its not a lurking potentially fatal infection in her lymph nodes.
And she has been a busy girl without all the pain that stops her in her tracks! Getting her schoolwork caught up. Labs that you just cant do at home.
Designing and making a machine for Physics.
Prepping for the big presentation she is doing today on Fort Laramie.
Working at the daycare. Being we live in town they call on her to help out on "snow days" so the out of town workers can go home. So she has put in several hours there as they had a short day of school and a full day off due to the weather.
And at the end of the day she may be tired but she is still smiling!!!
We are praying that she keeps that smile and that the pain will be under control. That the latest -diagnosed of endometriosis will be "snuffed out" sooner rather than later.
We are looking forward to December 15th and dreading it all in the same breath! That is the day the pain is to return if this treatment doesnt work.
Recently we learned that you can send your medical records to Mayo Clinic for review (without a doctors referral). To my understanding three doctors will review the information. Each doctor will give a yes or a no if they can assist the patient any further than already been treated. If two doctors say "no" then there will not be an appointment made. If at least two doctors say "yes" then an appointment can be made.
Upon learning of this we figured with the chronic-long-lasting-ever-so-returning pain and two completely different diagnosis we would send them in promptly!
It took many phone calls and a day of running to compile her records concerning the pain. Then Tessa and I wrote a three page "note" detailing the chronic pain and her medical history this past year leading up to it.
Time.
While we wait and Tessa's smile is shining we will enjoy it fully!
Smile on, sweet girl, smile on!
Oh, her sister (Maria) has some things to smile about too! Tho we are certain Maria will be shedding tears thru her smile! More about that on Monday.......

Yay! Tessa. Here's hoping that you make it through the 15th without pain.

oooohhhh if you are going to tell me that you are going to be a G-ma I'm going to happy for you but it won't be easy. You know how my two feel about that.

It's great to hear good news about Tessa. Hopefully Dec. 15 will find her pain free as well.

Waiting for the Maria news!

So pleased she is feeling better. I cannot imagine how difficult it must have been for you to see one of your "babies" in pain like that.
Looking forward to Maria's news!

Oh wonderful! I hope they can fix the problem and then everything will be alright for Tessa. This really has been a hard year for her.
