Tubby.
Tubs the dog.
He LOVES Clark and Daryl the most around here.
Its no secret.
Never has been.
Another fact that is NO secret- that maroon pickup is HIS!
When HIS pickup leaves he is either in it or making a very large fuss about it.
When the boys take the pickup to school then Tubs comes in the house by me til they are out of town.
Upon hearing the pickup doors open he has his nose to the door waiting for them to come take him along.
When the pickup starts he is frozen in anticipation. Tail stops wagging and he stares at the door.
Til he hears the pickup no more. Then he sadly lays down...all long faced and just stares at me. I tell him every day that to get use to it....its just him and I. I also tell him that Clark isnt taking him to college either(Fall 2012). but every time we have to go thru this loooong face stage!
When I let him outside again he goes directly to where the vehicle was and lays there. Even if its snowing. Even if its the car they took too. Rain. Snow. Wind. Ice. Shine.
If its bitter cold and winds a blowing then he doesn't hang out there as long.
The other day Daryl took the pickup when the boys were at school. That was a BIG no-no! He did not like that at all. He whined. He about went crazy trying to get out of the house. Then jumped up on the door and started digging his way out.
Thankfully that doesn't happen every time cuz that big dog can wreck a house in short order! yikes.
Tubby must of thought Daryl was headed to WY without him. Which would devastate him.
Or.... he really bought my line of "its just the two of us"!

Lovely family!!! Im dorry to hear you are still having your winter. :(
It wont be long and spring will be there!
Great bowl!
Poor Tubster, I hope you love him up and give him some good treats to take away some of his mourning! Truly a man best friend, far more loyal then any human. Just tell him summer is coming and watch him turn his head when you tell him that soon he will be with Clark and Daryl for the summer, in the truck. Its so funny to see!
Poor puppy! His is truly sad. Good post!
